College Transcripts

How does VerifiedHire obtain my college transcript?

After you sign up, you send your school a “transcript request form” and your school sends us your “official college transcript.” Then we post your transcript to your VerifiedHire Profile.

How do I request an official college transcript?

Requesting a Transcript

Does it have to be an “official college transcript”?

Yes, VerifiedHire will only accept official college transcripts, which are mailed directly from your school (NO unofficial college transcripts, NO electronically sent copies, and NO copies sent by you). This helps us ensure that all the transcripts posted on our site are 100% real and without forgery.

Where do I have my transcript sent to?

VerifiedHire

P. O. Box 1000

Pittsburgh, PA 15209

If I have more than (1) degree (i.e. Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate) can I submit transcripts from each degree?

Yes, you may submit up to (4) transcripts.

Employer Reviews

How does VerifiedHire obtain my employer reviews?

You submit your employment references and we email them a “Review Request.” They complete the “Review Request” and we post their reviews to your VerifiedHire Profile.

What do you ask my employment references?

Employer Review Questions

If I have more than (3) past employers can I submit references from each one?

Yes, you may submit up to (6) employment references. However, we recommend that you submit only your (3) most recent employment references.

What if an employment reference gives me a bad review?

If you are unhappy with the review provided by an employment reference you may delete the review from your profile at any time.

Should I list a reference from my current employer?

We recommend that you list a reference from your current employer. However, you should only list a reference from your current employer if you are comfortable with them receiving a “Review Request.”  Many VerifiedHire Members do not list references from their current employers, because they feel that sending them a “Review Request” would have negative implications.
